Banana Mobile is a mobile-VIP community based in Toronto that provides you with access

travel, and other exciting activities. Banana Mobile provides this to its memebers without
any special downloads or software, just simple text-messaging which everyone
already knows how to use!

- What type of memberships are there?

Banana Mobile offers 2 types of memberships:
- Trial memberships: which last for 3 months and allow savings at over 100 venues in Toronto.
- Premium memberships: which last for 12 months and provides both savings and annual gift vouchers at over 100 venues in Toronto.
- Does it cost anything?

No. Our trial membership is free, but if you would like to upgrade to
a premium membership and enjoy over $1,000 in gift vouchers, there is
a $10 charge. You can upgrade your membership online.
- Are there hidden fees?

No. We don't charge you anything for using our service even as a trial member so you
won't see our name on your mobile phone bill. However, standard text messaging rates
may apply depending on your provider - for most people with a package, this is free.
- What if I want to stop?

To opt-out, just text the keyword "STOP" to 226262 (BANANA).
You can also log into your profile on this page and cancel your subscription that way.
- Why do I send messages to 226262

226262 is a special phone number supported on all carriers that is
shorter than an actual 10-digit telephone number. Since it's shorter, it's easier
to remember and it also spells out the word "BANANA" on your keypad.

Using Banana Mobile
- What are Banana Points?

A "Banana Point" is the Banana Mobile discount unit. When you buy a membership you
receive 600 points, which allow you to receive $600 worth of discounts
(not including the value of gift vouchers you redeem).
- How do I receive Banana Mobile's savings on my cellphone?

Every Venue has its own simple unique number. When you receive your bill,
all you have to do is send a text message like this "venue number#price on bill" to
226262 (BANANA). For example, if you're at venue number 58 and your bill was $24.63, you would
text us "58#24.63". Within a few seconds, we'll send you back a text message displaying
your discount. Show this text message to the venue staff and enjoy your discount!
- How do I redeem my Banana Mobile gift vouchers?

To redeem any Banana Mobile Gift Voucher, simply send a text message with "venue number#g" to
226262 (BANANA). We will send you back a text message asking you for a
verification code which can be obtained from the venue staff.
Then simply text us back this code like this "venue number#confirmation code".
We will then send final approval text message which you show the venue staff - that's it!
- What is the Banana Mobile rating & comment System?

The Banana Mobile rating & comment system allows you to rate a Banana Mobile Venue anytime
using your mobile phone. The average ratings for each venue and all user comments will appear on our website.
This allows you to have your say and find out what others think - VIP member to VIP member.
Since these comments are usually made during or immidiately after visiting a venue, they are
going to be more honest and genuine. In addition to this, we reward you for participating
in this system by awarding you 5 Banana Points for each comment.
- How do I rate and comment on a Banana Mobile Venue?

The Banana Mobile rating system is very simple: it goes from 1 TO 5 stars (*),
with 5 stars being the best rating a venue can get. When you want to rate a Banana Mobile
venue, send "venue number#star rating*comment" to the 226262 (BANANA).
For example, if you had a great time at venue 58, and want to give it 5 starts,
you would text us "98#5*". If you want to also include the comment "Service was fast!", you would
text us "98#5*Service was fast!". Your rating will then appear on our website under the
microsite for venue 98 and your account credited with 5 Banana Points.
- Why rate a Banana Mobile venue

By rating or commenting on a venue, we will reward you with 5 extra
Banana Points. Also, you will be contributing to building an honest user community
with feedback by users for users as well as letting venues know what their customers think.
- Are the discounts I get always the same?

No. Although we try very hard to keep discounts and gift vouchers the same,
Venues can always update or change discounts at any time. If this causes you any inconvenience,
please don't hesitate to contact us.

Banana Mobile's system works with carrier-grade telecommunications equipment and top industry partners so
it this scenario is very unlikely. However, we realise nothing is perfect so if does happen and you do not
receive a reply text message within 5 minutes, please contact us at our customer support line: (905) 731-4916.
- I can't find the "#" symbol on my phone! What should I do?

That's ok, our system will also accept the space character, you don't have to use '#'
